A 4 way cross also known as a cruciform. Is made of of different saints. The origins are unknown and remain a mystery. But the overall conclusion was that it was first created so that you could wear all the medals at once without having to have a lot of medals. This medal is a creat way to represent and foster your devotion to GOD, Our Lady and all the saints. It soon became popular as it combines the top 4 most popular medals.
This vintage cross also has a scapular at the top. Medal is signed at the bottom with a maker’s mark but it is very hard to see.
Vintage 4 Way Cross in sterling silver comes with an 18” sterling silver chain. Chain is marked .925 Italy. Medal itself is over an inch from bail to bottom and is about one inch wide.

- Top of Cross = Sacred heart of Jesus
-Right = St. Christopher
- Bottom of Cross = MIraculous Medal
- Left = St. Joseph
Cross is double sided.
Backside of Cross:
-Top of backside = Scapular part of the medal depicting Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
